Global citizenship was the theme of our very lively International Week, 30 January to 3 February.
Year 10 found out about careers using languages, Year 7 students took part in Europe Workshops, Years 8, 9 and some Year 10 students very much enjoyed a play performed in French by a professional theatre company and throughout the week the girls were challenged to name the huge number of flags hung around the school and to test their international knowledge in an international quiz.
On Friday many girls celebrated the cultures of other nations by wearing or creating a costume inspired by another country – some of the outfits were nothing less than spectacular! In this fun and accessible way, our students are learning more about the world and their role in it.
