Ally Carter’s visit was wonderful!

I wasn’t disappointed by the visit from Ally Carter! It was fascinating to hear about her life in Oklahoma and her journey to become a writer. She was engaging, funny and very down to earth and seemed as pleased to be at St Mary’s as we were to have her with us.

When the length of the book-signing queue permitted she went out of her way to chat to the girls who had bought one of her books and I’m sure many of them will remember meeting her long after they have left St Mary’s. I felt even more privileged when I learnt that we were one of only two schools that Ally visited on a very short trip to Ireland and the UK – her next big event will be on 3 March in Texas!
