A very enjoyable Reading Competition

I enjoyed every moment of the Year 7 and 8 Reading Competition and was inspired to add several  books to my list of those I would like to read again – one of those “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams came from one of our winners.

The range of extracts was really remarkable  – they came from 84 different book titles although authors Michael Morpurgo and Ally Carter stood out with multiple readings from a range of their books.

 J K Rowling also featured several times- in fact two of our finalists chose to read from “Harry Potter”.
