Reading Aloud Competition

84 different book titles were chosen by students in Years 7 and 8 as they took part in The English Department’s Reading Aloud Competition.

Each competitor chose a short passage from a favourite book to read out loud. Authors Michael Morpurgo and Ally Carter were popular and some of the performances were very entertaining.

A finalist from each form was chosen – congratulations to them.
