National Poetry Day

Today is National Poetry Day so I am directing you to the National Poetry Day website https://nationalpoetryday.co.uk/ which has brought together some wonderful poems to discover and share. The theme this year is freedom – a theme that was clearly on my mind when I made my book recommendation yesterday.

I have also put together a poetry quiz and the English department is providing a prize which each form will be competing for in school. We want the girls to work together without any digital help – the answers may be interesting!
