24 April 2018
On Monday 23 April, Year 4 enjoyed a visit to Walton-on-the-Naze to explore coastal erosion as part of their field study in Geography. Assisted by staff from Essex Wildlife Trust’s Naze Centre, they had fun examining the different layers of the cliff and using equipment to measure the length and gradient of the beach, counting waves and identifying the direction of the current. They also carried out observational drawings and analysis which they look forward to looking at in more detail on their return to school.
