Tuesday 4 October – Year 11 Netball v Colchester High School

Our Year 11 netball team played brilliantly last night against Colchester High. The team is made up of Year 10 and 11 students and they worked well together with some great attacking play. We managed to keep the lead in all four quarters, but the end result was 12-12. A final goal by the opposition in the last minute! Well done to all who played

Thursday 6 October – Year 7 & 8 Netball Central Venue Tournament – Gilberd

Year 7: Team 1

On Thursday 6 October, we went on a trip to a tournament at The Gilberd School.
We started off strong with a couple of mistakes that we learnt from and became a better team as we
powered on through the tournament. We worked well as a team and enjoyed the tournament and we look forward to our next match, well done to both teams!

Year 7: Team 2

On the 6th of October Year 7 played a netball tournament at the Gilberd School, we did extremely well, team 2 won loads of matches and we are so proud of everyone who played in this tournament.

Ebun, Year 7

Year 8:

Year 8 played in the first round of the Central Venue tournament last night at The Gilberd. They played four games in total with the following results:
V TLA won 2-1
V Phillip Morant won 1-0
V St Benedict’s won 2-0
V Stanway won 3-2
Fantastic games, all really quite close so the girls did well to hold their nerve.
