Visit from multi-award-winning author Tamsin Winter

I am thrilled to share with you that one of the highly-anticipated books on my upcoming recommended reading list is written by the award-winning author, Tamsin Winter. What’s more exciting is that Tamsin will be visiting our school in January 2023, and preparations are already underway to make it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

The school staff has been working tirelessly since June to bring Tamsin to our school, and it’s evident that they have spared no effort to ensure that the visit is a huge success. Tamsin’s visit will comprise of many exciting events, including a talk and book signing, and a creative writing workshop that will be open to students from years 7 to 9 who applied for it.

During her talk, Tamsin will engage with students in years 7 and 8, sharing her experiences, insights, and writing techniques that have earned her several awards. This will be followed by a book signing session where students can interact with Tamsin, get their books signed, and ask her any burning questions they might have.

The creative writing workshop will be an excellent opportunity for students who are passionate about writing to learn from a professional writer. Tamsin will provide bespoke insights into her creative writing process and offer valuable guidance on how to hone their writing skills.
