A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at St Mary’s Independent Senior School for an enthusiastic, passionate Teacher of Humanities. The successful applicant will teach Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4 as well as History and Geography at KS3.

We are a highly successful independent day school for girls aged 3-16 years and boys aged 3-4 years situated on the outskirts of Colchester in Essex. St Mary’s is a member of the Girls’ Schools Association, the Independent Association of Prep Schools and the prestigious Round Square organisation.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, dynamic, and suitably qualified teacher who has a passion for Humanities and is excited by teaching and learning developments. This unique opportunity invites the successful applicant to work with other members of the Faculty and the wider School in supporting students in making a positive transition to develop, grow and enrich their lives beyond their education at St Mary’s.
