Literary Festival 2018

For several months now I have also been working on the Literacy Festival which will be taking place at the Lower School between 18 and 22 June with a different author visiting on each day throughout the week. We couldn’t make this work across the entire site but we were nevertheless very keen to involve the Senior School in some way. As a result, storyteller John Harris, will be with Year 7 in the Drama Studio  at Lexden Road on the afternoon of 21 June.

John is the only full time professional storyteller in the country working exclusively with children and young people. He’ll be telling stories and bringing copies of the books he’s written (and signing them for those who buy them).

The other authors in the Lower School line-up are Chloe Inkpen, Nick Butterworth, Kes Gray and Julie Irwin.
