Future Females Careers Fair | Essex | St Mary’s Colchester

Future females careers fair

We are holding a Future Females Careers Fair on Saturday 8 March to help inspire and empower girls’ futures. Marking International Women’s Day, this event is aimed at girls in Year 4 (age 8) through to Year 11 (age 16) along with their parents. The aim is to help girls think about their future aspirations and to inspire them by opening their eyes to all the future opportunities available. We have a number of individuals and organisations showcasing a variety of careers including areas or levels where women are underrepresented.

The event will run from 9.30-11.30am at St Mary’s Senior School with a closing talk delivered by Danielle Sheridan, Defence Editor at The Daily Telegraph. See below to read Danielle Sheridan’s bio.

Girls will have the opportunity to talk to people representing a wide range of careers, from interior, textiles and product designers to those working in automotive engineering, tech, medicine and finance.
