A former St Mary’s pupil – all the way from Kindergarten to Year 11 and taking GCSEs, before finally leaving in 1990 to go to The Leys for A levels. After university and then teacher-training, I worked at a co-educational boarding school in Hertfordshire as Head of English and resident tutor before moving back to Colchester to start a family. I’m currently a full-time mother of four boys, teaching Pilates in my spare time. I enjoy social tennis, the theatre and long dog walks.
