Congratulations to Emily in Year 11 who has been included in the Honours List in the Immerse Education Essay Competition!
Based on the brief ‘write about a medical breakthrough from the past decade’, Emily chose to write about the impact of mRNA vaccines and the recent breakthrough. This really interested her because she wants to pursue a career in medicine in the future, particularly in paediatric oncology.
The Immerse Education Essay Competition invites students aged 13–18 to write a 500-word essay on a topic of their choice from our list of over twenty subject questions or choose an open question to explore their own idea.
Immerse Education praised Emily’s entry and stated that “the commendation awarded reflected the academic promise evident in her work”. The judging panel noted her thoughtful ideas, analytical development and emerging academic voice. Out of thousands of submissions received globally, her essay was praised for its merit and potential.
Emily received a certificate and an invitation to join the Honours List Orientation Webinar, where Immerse Education’s academic team share insights on further academic development.
